Germany’s famed Nürburgring was closed for 90 minutes earlier this week so workers could remove a giant penis that graffiti artists had painted onto the road.

The offending member was painted on the Brunnchen corner of the Nurburgring’s Nordschleife“North Track”. The Nordschleife isn’t the 3.19 mile track currently used in the World Superbike championship but the 14.2 mile track used for track events but also open to the public who can run their cars and motorcycles on the full circuit for a 20-euro fee.

According to WorldCarFans, the graffiti penis was 49 feet long and 13 feet wide. The graffiti artists also painted the word “Danish” alongside the … artwork. Police say the vandals used more than five gallons of paint.

According to Sam Preston who tweeted the picture above, the penis was painted overnight and was still wet when crews began work to remove it.
