M1 Powersports announced a Facebook promotion that will give away a VIP package to the April 20-22 Road Atlanta round of the 2012 AMA Pro Road Racing Championship.

The firs 1000 fans to “like” M1 PowerSports on Facebook will be entered in a draw to win the prize for the Triumph Big Kahuna Atlanta round in Braselton, Ga. The VIP package includes two Triumph Big Kahuna Cabana passes which provides admission to all three days of on-track action, access to the paddock, VIP parking and an official program. VIPs will also get to watch the races from a special hospitality area.

Also included in the package are two tickets for rides in the pace car, two passes for the fan lap, and a pair of T-shirt vouchers. The draw will be held after the M1 PowerSports Facebook page receives 1000 likes.

“M1 understands how important social media is to communication in this day and age. If you’re not hitting it hard, you’re missing the boat,” says Cameron Gray, chief executive officer of M1 PowerSports. “As we are building our social brand, we want to get our voice out there in a way that will get people to the track and this is just the first of many social media promotions that will allow us to give back to the fans this year.”

The Triumph Big Kahuna Atlanta round will be the first of three events on the 2012 AMA Pro Racing calendar promoted by M1 PowerSports, with Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida and NOLA Motorsports Park in Lousiana hosting the other two at the end of the season. Official details haven’t been announced yet but a similar contest will likely be held for those two Big Kahuna events.
