Fastest, the latest MotoGP documentary from producer Mark Neale (Faster, The Doctor, The Tornado and The Kentucky Kid), is now available for DVD purchase in the U.S. and Canada.

Billed as the follow up to Faster, this new film that’s narrated by Ewan McGregor chronicles Valentino Rossi’s bid for his tenth GP championship during the 2010 season. Of course, we now know that Rossi suffered a serious leg injury during that year, and that Jorge Lorenzo ultimately took the 2010 title.

The film is dedicated to the memory of Marco Simoncelli, who passed away in a crash at the Malaysian MotoGP. The film features an in-depth interview with him about his upbringing, racing battles and his successful, but tragically too short, career.

Shown in limited screenings in select major markets like, Las Vegas, Chicago and New York, NY, Fastest remains in theatrical release in much of Europe, as well as Australia and other countries. The film is now a straight-to-DVD release for the U.S. and Canadian markets. However, the DVD features nearly an hour’s worth of extra footage not part of the feature, and according to the film’s production company a special DVD bundle package includes, among other things, a movie poster, hat and T-shirt.

As a special promotion, the first 100 people to order the DVD bundle online will receive a free copy of the Fastest CD soundtrack.

The DVD is now available online at the Fastest website (http://fastestthemovie.com/index-USA.html) for $29.95 (plus s&h). The special bundle with a claimed retail value of $105.00 is available for $89.99 (plus s&h). The DVD is also available at many motorcycle shops.
