June 12 ride to support Hogar Belen Orphanage

Photojournalist and Motorcycle.com contributor Neale Bayly is organizing a charity ride in Charlotte, N.C., to benefit orphaned and abandoned children in Peru.

The June 12 charity ride is in support for Wellspring International Outreach, a charitable organization Bayly founded with retired educator Maria Fitzgerald in 2008. Wellspring International Outreach raises funds for the Hogar Belen Orphanage in Moquegua, Peru. Operated by Sister Loretta Bonokoski, the Hogar Belen Orphanage cares for 150-300 children in temporary accommodations since 2001 when they lost their home in an earthquake

The charity fundraiser will start at the Motorcycles of Charlotte dealership and includes guided rides for sportbikes, tourers and dual sports. The suggested minimum contribution is $30 per participant.

For more information about the fundraiser, visit www.wellspring-outreach.org.
