Ultra-SOL Solar-powered Accessory Mount by Leader Motorcycle

Motorcycle accessory manufacturer Leader Motorcycle has introduced a solar-powered mounting kit for charging electronic equipment without relying on a motorcycle’s battery.

The Ultra-SOL by St. Francis, Minn., based Leader Motorcycle is a solar-powered electronics mounting kit. The kit includes a mini solar panel by Brunton that stores energy from sunlight which can be used for charging electronic accessories such as GPS navigation systems, smartphones or radios.

Also included in the kit a choice of six different mounting brackets that hold both the solar panel and the electronic device. The mounts can swivel to different angles to help absorb more sunlight.

The Ultra-SOL will be available from $250-280.
