Band makes stop at Buffalo Chip Campground

Music fans will hear a blast from the past at this year’s Sturgis Motorcycle Rally as Creedence Clearwater Revisited will make a stop at the Legendary Buffalo Chip Campground on Sunday, Aug. 8.

Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” Clifford, the original rhythm section of the pivotal band Creedence Clearwater Revival, started the Revisited project in 1995 and it has since taken on a dimension the two players never expected, with a double-live CD and multi-generational audiences showing up around the world to hear the band’s versions of the 22 classic Revival hits.

“Creedence Clearwater Revisited’s stage show has to be among the best touring acts in the country. They serve up a menu of 22 of the greatest hits in rock history and simply blow them out of the water,” says Rod Woodruff, campground owner.

Creedence Clearwater Revisited joins Kid Rock, ZZ Top, The Doobie Brothers, Jason Aldean, Disturbed, The Guess Who, Orianthi, Dave Mason, Williams and Ree and more at the Buffalo Chip for the 2010 party. Woodruff said more announcements are coming in a matter of days. Information and reservations are available at BuffaloChip.com.
