2024 Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Explorer and Rally Explorer – First Look


Triumph announced updates to its Tiger 1200 line, introducing minor updates that further refine the brand’s largest adventure models. The 2024 Tiger 1200 line will again be offered in four variants: the GT Pro, GT Explorer, Rally Pro, and Rally Explorer, with them all getting the same updates in most of the world.


Unfortunately, that’s not true for North America. Bear with me as this may get a bit confusing:

2018 Triumph Tiger 1200 XCa Review

Speaking of adventuring, on my way home from flogging this new Tiger all over the mountainside, I was inspired enough to explore a new route: Instead of taking the 210 to the 57 like I usually do, I hopped on 5 South, to the 10 West, to the 710 South! (I had to go to Long Beach to do a bike swap with Ryan.) Was it scary? A little. There are some parts of LA where you really don’t want to have to stop, but the Triumph Tiger 1200 XCa had me feeling all omnipotent. Bring it on!

2016 Triumph Tiger Explorer XCa Review

Ever since Triumph announced its 2016 model line at EICMA, we’ve been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the updated Tiger Explorer line. As we’ve noted before, the Explorer models have been divided between the XR models, which receives more street-oriented cast wheels, and the XC models, featuring dirt-friendly wire-spoke wheels. All Explorer models are based on the same platform (meaning the same engine, basic suspension specs and wheel sizes) with the designations signifying trim packages. Epic Sport-Adventure Spec Sheet Shootout

It’s a good time to be a motorcyclist. OEMs keep ratcheting up the amount of standard or optional technologies available on modern motorcycles. In just the last handful of years we’ve come to expect ABS, traction control, ride modes and slipper clutches as standard equipment.
