Haley, does make one good point about having oncoming cars blind you as they pass, he also mentions in the article that he uses the unit like you would a side or rear-view mirror.

The display allows you to see the lines of the road without having to look at the car and blinding you

The unit will be priced under $2,000 (that usually means $1,999).  I have way too many questions and concerns about this concept but I guess its too early to judge…

Rossi teamed up with Italian company Cicli Adriatica to develop a line of children’s bicycles – the VR46 bike collection. With this line of children’s two-wheelers, you can now blame your child’s skinned knee of the famed Fiat Yamaha rider!

The announcement of the VR46 bike collection came complete with a press release and a couple of photos of the bikes, complete with training wheels.

An excerpt from the press release after the jump.

“Valentino still remembers when, as a kid, took his first steps in the backyard of Dad Graziano, just riding an Adriatica bike. Since then, Rossi has continued to appreciate the two-wheeled world, though, of course, his interests have moved on the motorbike.”

Not satisfied with churning out children’s bikes, the VR46 line will apparently also include a racing bike and a mountain bike “from the highest level” to extend Rossi’s “winning image.”

The new bicycle line will be presented in Milan during EICMA. The show will start on Sept. 18 and run until Sept. 21.

Not everyone can pull off a tattoo, I know I can’t.  Or maybe I’m just too scared to ink up my entire arm for the rest of my life, sporting a faded and stretched color blotch when I’m 75 with my grand kids trying to guess what it once was.

They’re actually quite fashionable if yer into skulls, eagles, spider webs, and dragons.  I actually think the women’s shirts are way cooler then the men’s.  The prices range from $60 to $95 USD and can’t be bought online so head over to a dealership to pick a few up before they are gone.

Rich O’Connor is the owner of Rich’s Custom Seats in Kingston, WA, which is about 1 hour North of Seattle.  O’Connor’s specialty is motorcycle seats and has been creating them for over twenty years and on average he does about 2,700 of them per year, he has built a great reputation and is considered a true artist by many.

Being a motorcycle enthusiast himself, O’Connor has been riding for forty years with hundreds of thousands of miles under his belt he has a good understanding of what it takes to create a perfect seat.  O’Connor thinks of his shop more like an art studio because every seat is a one-off design and fit, requiring every customer to test-drive the new custom seat.

I can make a seat any shape in the world, but the one thing I can’t do is be their body down the road. So after someone test rides the seat, they can give me input so I can adjust it perfectly. And there’s no better place to test ride motorcycles than over here.

QLINK is taking online shopping to a new level with their ‘Ready-to-Ride’ delivery service.

What is Ready-to-Ride delivery?

Well, QLINK’s online store allows you to buy their motorcycles right from your computer chair.  It’s pretty surreal to be able to add a motorcycle to your “cart” and proceed to the online check out.

After purchasing a motorcycle online, QLINK will look for a QLINK dealership in your area for you to be able to pickup your new bike.  If there’s no dealership nearby, QLINK will DELIVER the motorcycle to you in a giant crate!

That’s pretty mind blowing and a pretty awesome way to help out your customers.  The bike is fully tested before being shipped and in most cases requires no assembly from the rider (except maybe attaching the mirrors).  The battery is even juiced up and ready to go.

Kudos to QLINK for this pretty amazing service they provide.
