2009 Zero X Electric Motorcycle

New bike, new two year warranty

After announcing the Zero S earlier this year, Zero Motorcycles have now released info on the 2009 Zero X. The new electric motorcycle not only features updated custom bodywork and a more advanced brake system, it also comes with a new two year limited warranty that is extended to all of their motorcycles, including two new warranty plans for increased coverage. Zero S Officially Announced

Dirt, track and now the street

With its lithium-ion power pack and handmade aircraft grade aluminum frame, it claims to be the fastest, lightest, cleanest and most fun electric motorcycle. You can read over all of the listed specs and features from their website, just too many to list here!

Tax Credits for Electric Bikes

10 reasons to consider a purchase this year

Two major players in electric motorcycles, Vectrix and Zero Motorcycles, are eligible for a 10% Federal tax credit for plug-in vehicles. Zero Motorcycles, already known for its electric dirt bikes, is launching a new street legal version, the Zero S coming sometime this spring. As for Vectrix, you can still get a tax credit on its scooters but as for its street bike concept there has been no confirmation from the company if it’s in production or even will be produced at all.
