Here, everyone understands a classic motorcycle has a story to tell, especially the ones that have gone under the knife of a talented hand who saw a vision for what they wanted their machine to be.

Michael Czysz, Founder and Team Principal of MotoCzysz, has been diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer, according to a team press release. He plans to undergo treatment immediately, which means he will not be able to attend the 2013 Isle of Man TT. He vows to return in 2014.

Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics.
Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder. The post reads:

Rockstar Energy is sponsoring Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebration, supporting several events through the year including the Aug. 28-Sept. 1 anniversary party itself. As part of the partnership, four special edition Harley-Davidson motorcycles were produced with the energy drink manufacturer’s yellow and black color scheme.
The four motorcycles – a Softail Slim, a Street Bob, a Street Glide and an Iron 883 – were produced by Rusty Coones of Illusion Motorcycles in Westminster, Calif. The four Rockstar Harley-Davidsons were displayed at Daytona Bike and will later appear at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and in Milwaukee for the 110th anniversary party.
Two of those limited edition Rockstar Harley-Davidson motorcycles are being given away in a pair of contests, one that’s open to the general public and another that’s available for Harley Owners Group members. Continue Reading »
