The association between Triumph and TAG Heuer comes as a result of their common values and the legacy of <a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/2009/03/24/motorcycle-news/the-steve-mcqueen-desert-racer/">Steve McQueen</a>, who was famously linked to both brands.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span id="more-7570"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Heuer-Bonneville-3-Small.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7573" title="Heuer Bonneville 3 (Small)" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Heuer-Bonneville-3-Small.jpg" alt="Heuer Bonneville 3 (Small)" width="448" height="299" /></a>The TAG Heuer <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/triumph/2009-triumph-bonneville-review-88138.html">Bonneville</a> features a unique blue and orange paint scheme that was inspired by the Porsche sports car driven by Steve McQueen’s character in the movie Le Mans (1971). McQueen wore TAG Heuer’s Monaco watch in the movie, and today TAG Heuer is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the watch.</p>
<p>McQueen rode Triumph motorcycles personally and in movies such as The Great Escape (1963). Triumph Motorcycles continues that relationship with McQueen’s estate to create vintage styled McQueen apparel. For 2010, the Triumph clothing range includes a jacket and t-shirt reminiscent of when McQueen raced a Triumph in the International Six Days Trials in Germany.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Heuer-Bonneville-5-Small.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7572" title="Heuer Bonneville 5 (Small)" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Heuer-Bonneville-5-Small.jpg" alt="Heuer Bonneville 5 (Small)" width="448" height="299" /></a>“We are delighted to play our part in this exciting project. The Triumph Bonneville and TAG Heuer Monaco are both timeless masterpieces, celebrating their respective 50th and 40th anniversaries this year,” said Neil Morley, Triumph’s Head of Brand Communications. “We also both have a natural connection with Steve McQueen, who famously wore a Monaco watch in the film Le Mans and was renowned for his love of our bikes, making this a very natural collaboration.”</p>
<p>The special Triumph Bonneville was unveiled in Paris by Lewis Hamilton, the 2008 Formula One world champion and TAG Heuer brand ambassador, and can be seen at various watch shows and TAG Heuer retailers throughout Europe.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Heuer-Bonneville-6-Small.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-7571" title="Heuer Bonneville 6 (Small)" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Heuer-Bonneville-6-Small.jpg" alt="Heuer Bonneville 6 (Small)" width="224" height="336" /></a>The Triumph Bonneville was born in 1959 to recognize Johnny Allen’s land speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats. The Triumph Bonneville was an instant hit in America and the UK, and 50 years later continues to be one of Triumph’s most iconic motorcycles. Despite its classic appearance, the new Triumph Bonneville motorcycles feature state-of-the-art design and performance.</p>
<p>The full range of Triumph motorcycles are available at authorized Triumph dealers throughout North America. To find your local Triumph dealer, please visit <a href="http://www.triumphmotorcycles.com/">www.TriumphMotorcycles.com</a>.</p>

<p>Unlike with most athletes, motorcycle racers&#8217; faces remain hidden during competition. Except for promotional events or pre- and post-race interviews, the faces of our racing heroes are shielded under protective helmets with tinted visors. You don&#8217;t see the same human emotion in their faces like you can when soccer players score a goal or baseball players hit a home run.</p>
<p>But one thing helmets provide is a canvas for racers to express their creativity and personality.</p>
<p>The 2009 MotoGP Championship is almost complete, so we thought we&#8217;d take a look at some of the top helmet designs from the season. Here&#8217;s our list of the most interesting helmet designs for 2009. Let us know what you think about our choices or suggest ones we missed.</p>
<p><span id="more-7293"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center"><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/rossi-donkey.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7300" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/rossi-donkey.jpg" alt="rossi-donkey" width="252" height="360" /></a><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/rossi-hands.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7301" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/rossi-hands.jpg" alt="rossi-hands" width="252" height="360" /></a></p>
<p>Of all MotoGP racers, Valentino Rossi is probably best known for his creative helmet designs. Rossi&#8217;s usual helmet, the Five Continents is a work of art on its own, but every season, Rossi and his designer Aldo Drudi bust out a couple of special one-off designs. Who can forget Rossi&#8217;s screaming face plastered on his helmet in last year&#8217;s Mugello race? This year, they gave us the Shrek Donkey design at <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/events/motogp-2009-misano-results-88721.html">Misano</a> and at <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/events/motogp-2009-mugello-results-88365.html">Mugello</a>, they produced the Hands design with Rossi&#8217;s gloves painted on the helmet.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/lorenzo-x.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7303" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/lorenzo-x.jpg" alt="lorenzo-x" width="252" height="360" /></a><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/lorenzo-barcelona.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7306" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/lorenzo-barcelona.jpg" alt="lorenzo-barcelona" width="252" height="360" /></a></p>
<p>Not to be outdone, Rossi&#8217;s Fiat <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/yamaha.html" target="_blank">Yamaha</a> teammate and main title challenger Jorge Lorenzo showed off several helmet designs of his own. In most races this season, the Spaniard sported his Lorenzo&#8217;s Land helmet with his trademark circled X logo. At the <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/events/motogp-2009-catalunya-results-88445.html">Catalan Grand Prix</a>, Lorenzo paid tribute to his favorite soccer team,  Barcelona FC.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/lorenzo-captain-america.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7304" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/lorenzo-captain-america.jpg" alt="lorenzo-captain-america" width="252" height="360" /></a><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/lorenzo-astronaut.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7305" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/lorenzo-astronaut.jpg" alt="lorenzo-astronaut" width="252" height="360" /></a></p>
<p>This season, two of Lorenzo&#8217;s four wins were earned wearing one-0ff helmet designs honoring American icons. At <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/events/motogp-2009-indianapolis-results-88693.html">Indianapolis</a>, Lorenzo was victorious in this Captain America helmet, paying tribute to the Marvel Comics character. A couple rounds later, Lorenzo was victorious again, this time in <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/events/motogp-2009-estoril-results-88780.html">Estoril</a> with an astronaut motif celebrating the 40th anniversary of Neil Armstrong&#8217;s moonwalk.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/edwards-stars.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7310" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/edwards-stars.jpg" alt="edwards-stars" width="252" height="360" /></a><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/edwards-stars2.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7311" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/edwards-stars2.jpg" alt="edwards-stars2" width="252" height="360" /></a></p>
<p>Staying with the theme of Yamaha riders, America and outer space, we have Tech 3&#8217;s Colin Edwards and his Star-spangled helmet. For most races, Edwards wore a colorful design but at <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/events/motogp-2009-catalunya-results-88445.html">Catalunya</a>, the Texas Tornado switched to a black-and-white helmet.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hayden-fireworks.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7314" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hayden-fireworks.jpg" alt="hayden-fireworks" width="252" height="360" /></a><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hayden-makeawish.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7315" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hayden-makeawish.jpg" alt="hayden-makeawish" width="252" height="360" /></a></p>
<p>Nicky Hayden celebrated the Fourth of July weekend with a fireworks-themed helmet at the <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/events/motogp-2009-laguna-seca-results-88492.html">U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca</a>. At the <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/events/motogp-2009-indianapolis-results-88693.html">Indianapolis Grand Prix</a>, Hayden wore a one-off helmet supporting the Make a Wish Foundation. The helmet was later auctioned to raise funds for the charity.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/stoner-aussie.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7316" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/stoner-aussie.jpg" alt="stoner-aussie" width="252" height="360" /></a><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/vermeulen-red-bull.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7317" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/vermeulen-red-bull.jpg" alt="vermeulen-red-bull" width="252" height="360" /></a></p>
<p>Hayden&#8217;s <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/ducati.html" target="_blank">Ducati</a> Marlboro teammate Casey Stoner missed several rounds due to a mystery illness but returned with his usual form, including a win in his home circuit at <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/events/motogp-2009-phillip-island-results-88833.html">Phillip Island</a> with this Aussie-themed helmet. Fellow Australian Chris Vermeulen had his own tribulations this year. The Rizla <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/suzuki.html" target="_blank">Suzuki</a> rider will move on to World Superbikes in 2010, but in what may be his final MotoGP season, Vermeulen sported this Red Bull design.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/capirossi-white.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7318" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/capirossi-white.jpg" alt="capirossi-white" width="252" height="360" /></a><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/capirossi-capirex.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7320" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/capirossi-capirex.jpg" alt="capirossi-capirex" width="252" height="360" /></a></p>
<p>Veteran Loris Capirossi wears an asymmetrical design with his number 65 on one side and stars on the other. At <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/events/motogp-2009-phillip-island-results-88833.html">Phillip Island</a>, Capirossi wore a modified design with 65 in yellow and his nickname &#8220;Capirex&#8221; running across the vertical stripe.</p>
<p>Honorable mentions:</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/deangelis-rainbow.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7321" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/deangelis-rainbow.jpg" alt="deangelis-rainbow" width="252" height="360" /></a><a href="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/spies-texas.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-7322" src="http://blog.motorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/spies-texas.jpg" alt="spies-texas" width="252" height="360" /></a></p>
<p>Okay, so maybe the Rainbow helmet of Gresini <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/honda.html">Honda</a>&#8217;s Alex de Angelis wasn&#8217;t one of the &#8220;best&#8221; designs of the year. It probably wasn&#8217;t very intimidating for racers to know Rainbow Brite was on their tails. But the design was eye-catching to say the least. Meanwhile Ben Spies&#8217; Lone Star helmet also deserves honorable mention. Spies will race as a wildcard in the season finale in Valencia before becoming a full time MotoGP racer in 2010. The Lone Star helmet worn in the World Superbike round at <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/news/wsbk-2009-utah-results-88367.html">Miller Motorsports Park</a> was great and deserves recognition.</p>

<p><span id="more-7236"></span></p>
<p><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="480" height="385" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/lR9GsyZDlqw&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="385" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/lR9GsyZDlqw&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></p>
<p>Start your drawing with two circles that will form the wheels of the motorcycle. Keep 5 inches distance between the two tires.</p>
<p>Draw two straight parallel lines coming up from the front wheel. Make sure the lines become slanting as they rise, in front of the gas tank. This will form the forks to which the handlebars will be connected.</p>
<p>Now make the handlebars and connect them to the ends of the forks drawn in the step 2. Make sure they face towards the seat by adding desired curve towards the seat.</p>
<p>Draw long rectangular oval shape for the seat. This must be connected to the back wheel.</p>
<p>Next, draw the tank portion of the vehicle. For this you need to draw an oblong oval connecting the seat and the fork. Make sure that it is wider on the right-hand side for the gas tanks. It should be placed half way in middle of the fork and to the seat.</p>
<p>Now about three quarters from bottom of the fork, make a rectangular shape extending from the fork to the middle of the back wheel.</p>
<p>For greater details you can further add engine, exhaust, and other components that make motorcycles run.</p>
<p>Add a headlight at the front portion, close to the forks.</p>
<p>Now you can color or shade the sketch to make your motorcycle graphic look unique.</p>

<p>Not everyone can pull off a tattoo, I know I can&#8217;t.  Or maybe I&#8217;m just too scared to ink up my entire arm for the rest of my life, sporting a faded and stretched color blotch when I&#8217;m 75 with my grand kids trying to guess what it once was.</p>
<p>Well <a href="http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/harley-davidson.html">Harley-Davidson</a> has a solution for me (and maybe you!)</p>
<p>Fake it!</p>
<p>Harley-Davidson&#8217;s new clothing line has been designed by &#8220;Tattoo Masters&#8221; to give you that authentic tattoo look, but on a shirt.</p>
<blockquote><p><span>Show your individuality with H-D Ink, a new, limited-edition brand of MotorClothes® apparel. Inked by tattoo masters from around the world and cut from the highest-quality materials, H-D Ink is available exclusively at select H-D dealerships</span></p></blockquote>
<p>They&#8217;re actually quite fashionable if yer into skulls, eagles, spider webs, and dragons.  I actually think the women&#8217;s shirts are way cooler then the men&#8217;s.  The prices range from $60 to $95 USD and can&#8217;t be bought online so head over to a dealership to pick a few up before they are gone.</p>
<p><strong>See the rest of the post for a fancy H-D commercial and a few pics of their apparel.  <a href="http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/Content/Pages/ink/hd_ink.jsp?locale=en_US">Head over to Harley&#8217;s site to see the full line.</a></strong><span id="more-6835"></span><br />
