Spidi is quickly becoming one of our favorite motorcycle gear and apparel brands. They’re similar to Dainese because, well, they’re Italian for one, but mostly because they combine fashion and protection very elegantly. A bunch of us MOrons have been wearing various Spidi gear and we’ve got nothing but good things to say so far.

Spidi:

SPIDI Rebel is a crisp, technically advanced and yet somewhat classic looking leather jacket, rocking Carbon/Keramide shoulder shields coupled to EN1621-1 certified Warrior Lite protectors on shoulders and elbows. EN1621-2 Lev.1 and Lev.2 Warrior back protectors, thermal liners, and the famous H2Out waterproof/windproof membrane can be added as optional.

Spidi Rebel

Nestled in Vicenza (Italy), SPIDI is the most prominent name when talking about motorcycle leather jackets; the firm was born in 1977 and has its headquarter in the most important tanning district of the world. Almost six hundred years of tradition, innovation and research allow SPIDI to use the finest leathers from around the world, intelligently worked in this Northern Italian region where tanning is handed down for generations and where the common goal is to continue to refine the tanning process of leathers. SPIDI benefits from this amazing know-how to create the quality standards of leathers used in the motorcycle world.

It is no surprise to find such supple and comfortable leather being used to create Rebel, and there is no better name for a jacket that represents the offspring of such a classic world but with such an untamable soul.

Rebel boasts Italian crafted Carbon/Keramide external shields on the shoulders, while inside are present comfortable EN1621-1 certified Warrior Lite shoulder and elbow protectors. Both carbon and keramide fibers have several advantages including high rigidity, high tensile strength, low weight, high chemical resistance, high temperature tolerance and low thermal expansion. These properties have made them very popular in the motorsports industry and contributed to reaching new limits and developing solutions never seen before. And that’s what this jacket is. A glorious mix of tradition, heritage, design and high-tech features.
