The Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Revival announces Loretta Lynn’s Ride for Mission 22, a multi-spoked charity ride that will benefit Mission 22, a 501© 3 organization that provides treatment programs for veterans suffering from PTSD and TBI, while raising awareness on the tragic issue of veteran suicide.
Yesterday over 20 veterans were lost to suicide. That makes the war at home more dangerous than all of our combat missions around the world. Loretta Lynn’s Ride for Mission 22 will bring the motorcycle community together to help combat this alarming statistic and help raise funds for Mission 22.

In addition to the motorcycle people camping at the Ranch and anyone coming in on their own, we have 21 motorcycle dealers hosting their own motorcycle rides that will all converge at the Ranch. We want to give them a real nice show with a Special Military Tribute and recognize that many of these young men and women who serve our country, often come home with turmoil and grief that leads to suicide. When I heard 22 veterans commit suicide a day in our country, I just thought this could not be true and what could we do.” – Loretta Lynn

On Sunday October 1, 2017, Loretta Lynn’s Ride for Mission 22 will consist of “22” separate motorcycle rides starting at locations from the North, South, East and West and will culminate at The Ranch. Loretta’s house band The “Coal Miners Band”, and friends will perform with an all-star line up for the participants. “You never know what musicians will be on that stage. The Lynn family has lots of friends in the music industry that are eager to help support this worthy cause.” Carrie Repp of R&R promotions, a partner of the Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Event. “This is the first time you will see so many dealerships working together, coming together all in effort to support our veterans, it really is something special and an honor to be a part of.” Repp stated. R&R Promotions is a specialty agency with decades of motorcycle event promotions and deep ties to the national motorcycle family.

Riders will choose their preferred “ Ride Host” start location from the event website and for a donation of $50.00 (which will go directly to Mission 22) will enjoy the ride, a day pass to all the festivities at The Revival, lunch compliments of Mission BBQ, and enjoy entertainment highlighted with a special Military Tribute at Loretta’s Roadhouse. Each Ride is limited to 50 people per location, so those interested are urged to sign up early.

We are very excited and want to sincerely thank Mrs. Lynn, her family, and the wonderful group of artists and musicians who will be coming out to entertain to help make this our most special and important fund-raiser of the year,” says Mission 22 Executive Director Sara Dawdy. “The work we do via Mission 22 is invaluable to our veterans.”

I was living in the past so long it consumed me. Being able to function and be present enabled me to do other things I have not been able to do in years. After six months in Mission 22’s Endobiogeny program, I lost 30lbs, had reduced migraines, lower anxiety and cholesterol levels, and better sleep.” From mission 22 veteran Brad: Sergeant in the Infantry. “We work hard every day to offer exactly what Brad has benefitted from to all our veterans.”
