Outsiders Yamaha Official Enduro Team Form Strong Squad For 2017 EnduroGP Campaign

Following a highly successful debut season of FIM Enduro World Championship competition the Outsiders Yamaha Official Enduro Team are set to battle for top honours in 2017 with a strong line-up of two riders competing across both the newly formed EnduroGP and Enduro 2 championships. Frenchman Loic Larrieu is joined by Manxman Jamie McCanney representing the team in the newly revised Enduro 2 class.

2017 will mark Loic Larrieu’s second year aboard the Outsiders Yamaha Official Enduro Team’s WR450F machine. Claiming two class victories and a total of eight top three results in 2016 to secure third in the Enduro 2 World Championship the Frenchman is fired up for more podium topping success in 2017.

The Outsiders Yamaha Official Enduro Team is also excited to announce the addition of Britain’s Jamie McCanney to their rider line-up for 2017. Rising to the top of the junior scene after winning both the FIM Youth Cup title and the Enduro Junior championship, the 23-year-old rider endured a challenging debut senior season in 2016. Missing five GPs due to injury he nevertheless wrapped up the year with four Enduro 1 class podium results and an impressive third in the Enduro 2 class at the ISDE in Spain. For 2017 Jamie will race Yamaha’s WR250F in the revised 250cc Enduro 2 class.

The nine-round-long 2017 FIM Enduro World Championship kicks off on March 25/26 with the GP of Finland taking place in Paijanne, Helsinki.
