John "Sonic the Hedgehog" Cantlie Appears in New ISIS Video

Before he became a war correspondent, our colleague John Cantlie was a staff editor at British bike mag SuperBikes. The bad news is he was captured by ISIS forces in Syria four years ago, and has since appeared in a dozen or so videos supporting (no doubt against his will) the ISIS cause. The good news is he’s still alive in this recently released video, in which the tone of his captors has changed considerably. Read all about it and watch the vid here at the Los Angeles Times.
