Moto Machines, the exclusive importer and distributor for Hepco & Becker products in the United States, released information today for the new Orbit Side Cases. For those who aren’t familiar with Hepco & Becker, the German company has produced motorcycle accessories – with an emphasis on BMWs – for 40 years. Recently, Hepco & Becker has been expanding its line beyond BMW to include other motorcycle brands.

According to Moto Machines, the new Orbit Side Case Set is unlike any hard case on the market, due largely to the fact that it attaches to the smaller and discrete C-Bow carrier, rather than our normal (and bulkier) Side Carrier. Traditionally used for soft luggage attachment, the C-Bow system is a bike specific mount which allows riders to attach lockable luggage to a bike – which means that there are over 200 models that can mount these cases onto.

The Orbit cases are made of high-impact UV-resistant plastic and are 100% waterproof, thanks in part to a form fitted rubber seal along the case’s seam. A new all-in-one lock concept allows the lid latch and locking mechanism to be integrated as one system. The Orbit features a robust appearance thanks to a carbon look pattern unique to Hepco & Becker, along with a fresh 3D Hepco & Becker logo. A form fitted inner bag is also available to keep your belongings clutter free.

  • Volume: 22L/case
  • Weight: 4lbs/case
  • Dimensions: 16“ x 12” x 8.5″ (Length x Height x Depth)

While on his way to a planned life in academia, he applied for a job at a motorcycle magazine, thinking he’d get the opportunity to write some freelance articles. Instead, he was offered a full-time job in which he discovered he could actually get paid to ride other people’s motorcycles – and he’s never looked back. Over the 25 years he’s been in the motorcycle industry, Evans has written two books, 101 Sportbike Performance Projects and How to Modify Your Metric Cruiser, and has ridden just about every production motorcycle manufactured. Evans has a deep love of motorcycles and believes they are a force for good in the world.
