Michelin launch limited edition MotoGP™ tyre
Just 5,000 pairs of limited edition MotoGP™ tyres will be produced to celebrate Michelin’s return to the World Championship.
To mark their return to motorcycle racing’s premier series, Michelin has chosen to take the wraps off their new Michelin Pilot Power 3 MotoGP™ Ltd Edition tyre which will go on sale in Europe on 1 June.
In a world first, this exclusive tyre will feature specific sidewall branding that combines the Michelin Pilot Power 3 and official MotoGP™ logos. Production is being limited to 5,000 pairs.
The new Michelin Pilot Power 3 MotoGP™ Ltd Edition is available in 120/70 ZR 17 (58W) front and 180/55 ZR 17 (73W) rear sizes to fit a large selection of sports bikes.
Michelin’s MotoGP™ involvement provides it with an extreme laboratory to develop technological solutions that will later feed into the road tyres it makes for all motorcyclists.
