Diamond Bar, California (May 5, 2016)- Sena Bluetooth solves communications needs for Sisters’ Centennial Motorcycle Ride Sena Technologies, Inc., the global leader in bluetooth motorcycle communication systems, has partnered with the Sisters’ Centennial Motorcycle Ride enabling ride leaders real-time communication between ride leaders, support vehicles and support staff. Taking advantage of Sena’s latest technology for motorcycle riders, all ride staff will now be connected through a variety of Sena Bluetooth products.

“Sena is thrilled to support the Sister’s Centennial Motorcycle Ride by being the official communication system of the event,” said Tae Kim, CEO of Sena Technologies, Inc. “These passionate and fearless women are paving the way for a future generation of riders, and we’re proud to do our part in keeping them safe and connected while riding.”

“An event of this magnitude has so many moving parts it seemed a daunting task to keep our large staff communicating effectively, yet Sena Bluetooth worked with us not only to determine our needs but also worked out a great solution for us,” said event organizer Alisa Clickenger. “With nearly twenty staff members riding motorcycles and several more in chase vehicles, we now have a solid solution to keep everyone in touch and working together seamlessly.”

Scheduled July 3-23, 2016, the AMA-sanctioned event is a cross-country motorcycle ride for women commemorating the 100th anniversary of Adeline and Augusta Van Buren’s historic ride across the United States from New York to San Francisco. The event will conclude with a group ride in to San Francisco on July 23, 2016, where festivities will celebrate the event completion and riders’ accomplishments.

“This was a phenomenal accomplishment by two courageous women at a time when few roads were paved, post-Victorian attitudes were in full flare and women did not yet have the right to vote,” said Clickenger. “This ride is intended to honor their achievement and promote the growth of today’s female motorcyclists and the motorcycling community.”

Women have several options for participation, including a fully supported tour, as well as self-guided tours of the entire route or individual segments. Registration is open on the event website at www.SistersMotorcycleRide.com.
