COSTA MESA, CA, MAR. 30 –

MotoAmerica has announced that Cortech is returning as a supporting partner of the 2016 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship. Cortech is also back on board as the presenting sponsor of the Cortech Timing & Scoring system that is used in the nine-round MotoAmerica Series, which gets started at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, April 8-10.
Based in Calabasas Hills, California, Cortech is Helmet House’s performance gear brand for motorcycling and snowmobiling and offers a full array of performance products for riders, including apparel, boots, luggage, gloves and snowmobile gear. Cortech has been developed with the help of leading MotoAmerica riders like Jake Lewis and Garrett Gerloff.
“Having Cortech back on board for 2016 comes as great news,” said MotoAmerica President and three-time 500cc World Champion Wayne Rainey. “It was a solid partnership last year in our debut season and it’s nice to move forward with them again in our second season. Our timing and scoring is much improved over last year and it will be good to have Cortech back as the sponsor of that system.”
“Cortech is proud to return as MotoAmerica’s Timing and Scoring supporting partner for the 2016 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship,” said Richard Kimes, CMO and Director of Training for Helmet House, Cortech’s parent company. “With professional road racing one of the cornerstones for Cortech’s relentless product development, we can’t imagine a better partner than MotoAmerica to help Cortech continue its strong growth in high performance street and road racing apparel.”
