Honda Thailand presented a café racer concept based on its 300-series platform called the 300 TT Racer. Produced by the Thai subsidiary for the 2016 Bangkok International Motor Show, the concept is described as an example of the “Neo-Retro Racer” style that seems to be in fashion at the moment (one needs only look at the Concept CB Type II Honda presented in Japan over the weekend for another example).

The 300 TT Racer Concept shares the same frame and 286cc Single found on the CBR300R and CB300F but uses a completely new subframe to support its solo seat and abbreviated tail. The fuel tank also sits lower and flatter for more forward-leaning riding position, a posture necessitated by the low-mounted café racer-style handlebars.

Other changes include a new exhaust, LED headlight, upside-down fork, radial-mount front brake calipers and some carbon fiber components.
