For the second year in a row, City National Bank will pony up a $5,000 year-end award for GNC1.

From the AMA:
AMA Pro Racing and Los Angeles-based City National Bank are proud to announce a renewed agreement for the 2016 AMA Pro Flat Track season, with the inclusion of a $5,000 year-end award that will be granted to the Harley-Davidson GNC1 presented by Vance & Hines champion.

City National Bank, known as “The Bank to the Stars,” is excited to be reuniting with the superstars of AMA Pro Flat Track. Through this agreement, the GNC1 rider who gains the most points at the end of the season will receive the newly established year-end contingency award to support their endeavors in Pro Flat Track racing.

“We are delighted to enjoy a relationship with City National Bank and are grateful for their renewed commitment to our sport,” said Michael Lock, CEO of AMA Pro Racing. “We are excited to enter into a second year with them and look forward to continuing our partnership.”

David Pijot, Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager of City National Bank’s southeast motorsports entertainment division, has expressed his eagerness for the renewed relationship and the opportunity to provide financial assistance to the champion rider.

“We are pleased to be renewing our official agreement with AMA Pro Racing,” said Pijot. “We are proud to help keep the momentum going in the Flat Track community and we are excited to see what the 2016 season brings.”

AMA Pro Racing and City National Bank formed their initial relationship in 2015, supporting riders to reach their potential in the GNC1 class. Now, having tasted the intensity of AMA Pro Flat Track racing, City National Bank has enthusiastically established its presence for a second year.
