Ducati has released a new mobile app that works with the 2015 Multistrada. Available now in the Apple Store for iOS devices (and coming soon to Android), the Multistrada Link app works with S models which received Bluetooth connectivity as standard equipment for the 2015 model year onward.

The Multistrada Link app collects data before, during and after the ride wirelessly with the Multistrada’s Controller Area Network. The app records and displays ride statistics including the expected distances ridden, fuel consumption and maximum speed. The app also shows more advanced information such as real-time lean angles and the maximum lean angle reached, maximum and average horsepower delivery, as well as the rider’s usage of the Multistrada’s different power modes.

Ducati isn’t the first manufacturer to produce a motorcycle-connected mobile app. Piaggio has a similar app called the Piaggio Multimedia Platform (or Aprilia Multimedia Platform for Aprilia bikes), turning a mobile phone into an advanced onboard computer.
