MO’s Ultimate Sport-Touring Adventure Update Day 2

Day two of MO’s Ultimate Sport-Touring adventure is in the bag and all the bikes are performing flawlessly so far (not to give anything away). The gang started their day in Big Sur, winding their way up the coast again to avoid the heat going inland. They passed through San Francisco, while continuing to ride along California’s western border, all the way to Gualala, some 250-plus miles from their starting point (check out their GPS position here, courtesy of Spot Tracking). That distance may not seem like much for a day’s ride, but factor in stops in scenic areas for photo passes and video shoots and you can see where much of a day can be spent.

Still, road trips often mean meeting people with interesting stories. Such is the case with Sam, who rode across the country from Farmington, Maine aboard his 1979 Suzuki GS850. Kudos, Sam! Check out more pics from the MO crew below.

We were a little worried when we rolled in five minutes before closing. We were hungry enough to beg but didn't want to piss off the cook because of what happened to the last guys who angered him. Gaulala, CA.more
