Ducati revealed the Scrambler-inspired racebike that Troy Bayliss will ride in the 2015 AMA Flat Track Championship.

While the yellow livery may resemble the Scrambler Icon, the racebike is inspired by the Full Throttle version with the wider flat handlebar and twin exhausts on the right side that rise up to just under Bayliss’ iconic #21.

Discuss this at our Ducati Scrambler Forum.

The bike was prepared by Lloyd Brothers Motorsports with the support of Ducati and sponsorship of historic Ducati collector Jim Dillard. The frame is specially crafted for Flat Track while the suspension, 19-inch wheels and lack of a front brake were assembled to meet AMA Flat Track regulations. Powering the racebike is an 1100cc air-cooled two-valve Twin.

Bayliss will be teamed with Johnny Lewis to race in the following five rounds of the 2015 AMA Flat Track season.

  • May 24 – Springfield Mile (Round 3)
  • May 30 – Sacramento Mile (Round 4)
  • July 4 – Du Quoin Mile (Round 7)
  • July 11 – Indy Mile (Round 8)
  • September 6 – Springfield Mile II (Round 13)
