The annual CES show in Las Vegas is the place to be this week for both technophiles and motorcyclists, or at least technophile motorcyclists. Energica will have its Ego model electric motorcycle on display inside the ChargePoint booth, #2815.

ChargePoint is one of the world’s largest and most open electric vehicle (EV) charging networks. Energica is providing access to the more than 20,000 public charging locations on the ChargePoint network by supplying Ego owners with ChargePoint membership cards.

“As part of our ongoing partnership, we are very thrilled to be hosted by the leader in EV,” says Livia Cevolini, Energica Motor Company CEO. “We are focused on growing in the US, and together with ChargePoint we will be able to provide Ego owners a first-class experience from driving to charging.”

Technology is one of the key drivers shared by both companies. On the one side the Italian-manufactured electric superbike was designed and constructed by CRP Group. ChargePoint makes advanced hardware and supports the network with its cloud based software. In addition to displaying the partnership with Energica at CES, ChargePoint is unveiling their all new and advanced home charging station.

The Energica Ego is available for sale through its network of authorized dealers such as Newport Italian in California.
