For those wanting quality protection from a motorcycle jacket, without looking like a superhero, the REV’IT! Windsor Jacket might be the ticket you’re looking for. It is a lightweight urban jacket built to keep things cool on sunny, summer days.

Inspired by classic military styles, the Windsor’s utilitarian design reflects its pocketknife-like features: The jacket comes fitted with a removable hood, a two-way front zipper, dual air vents at the chest, cargo pockets on the outer and inner jacket, a drawstring cinch waist, and a hidden vertical pocket under the zipper flap. Pleating at the shoulders gives it extra flexibility in a riding position, and KnoxLite CE Protection is included at the elbows and shoulders – all this wrapped in a smart, casual, easy-to-wear shell.

The Windsor jacket is prepared for Seesoft CE-level 2 back protector insert (Type RV) and comes in classic dark green. MSRP is $319.99.

Troy's been riding motorcycles and writing about them since 2006, getting his start at Rider Magazine. From there, he moved to Sport Rider Magazine before finally landing at Motorcycle.com in 2011. A lifelong gearhead who didn't fully immerse himself in motorcycles until his teenage years, Troy's interests have always been in technology, performance, and going fast. Naturally, racing was the perfect avenue to combine all three. Troy has been racing nearly as long as he's been riding and has competed at the AMA national level. He's also won multiple club races throughout the country, culminating in a Utah Sport Bike Association championship in 2011. He has been invited as a guest instructor for the Yamaha Champions Riding School, and when he's not out riding, he's either wrenching on bikes or watching MotoGP.
