21 Helmets Moto-Art Showcase At Red Bull Grand Prix Of The Americas
Bell Helmets and Red Bull have partnered with Circuit of The Americas (COTA), to bring the unique moto-art exhibit, “21 Helmets” to the 2014 Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas, taking place April 11-13 in Austin, Texas. The exhibit features 21 Bell motorcycle helmets transformed into unique works of art by artists from Austin and surrounding Texas regions, on display in an exclusive gallery located in the COTA paddock.
Bell and COTA have also partnered on a limited-edition Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas commemorative helmet – a Bell Star Carbon designed by renown motorcycle painter Chris Wood of Airtrix, featuring graphics that pay homage to the Lone Star State. The original Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas commemorative helmet will also be on display in the paddock gallery.
Artists from all over Texas, including Dallas, Houston, Austin, and more, will be submitting their helmet art. Some of the artists include Blake Bermel, Joonbug, Arma, Kyle Confehr, Shek Vega, Scott McDermott, Bryan Cope, Nicky Davis and more.

Troy's been riding motorcycles and writing about them since 2006, getting his start at Rider Magazine. From there, he moved to Sport Rider Magazine before finally landing at Motorcycle.com in 2011. A lifelong gearhead who didn't fully immerse himself in motorcycles until his teenage years, Troy's interests have always been in technology, performance, and going fast. He's also won multiple club races throughout the country, culminating in a Utah Sport Bike Association championship in 2011.
