Rev’it Commissions Custom Jackets For The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show
As a sponsor of the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show, Rev’it USA will celebrate the spirit of custom design with the commission of original artwork from four Texas-based artists, for a dedicated exhibit of motorcycle jackets at The Second Skin Jacket Show. The show takes place April 11 and 12, 2014 to coincide with the MotoGP event at the Circuit of the Americas.
Local Austin artists Brian Philips, Fort Lonesome, Rich Cali and Logan Hirsch will customize four Rev’it Roamer jackets with handmade, one-of-a-kind artwork. The commission is a nod to the show’s mission to revive the culture of physical craftsmanship through the medium of motorcycles.
Rev’it is pushing into the urban market with products that provide the highest level of protection under the camouflage of classic, vintage-inspired design. In addition to the jackets, Rev’it will display its Redhook and Flatbush jackets; Campo and Lombard jeans; and Rodeo,Mohawk and Ginza boots at the April show. And in case you missed it, check out this review of the Brera jacket, the jacket suitable for a motorcycle ride or a first date.
If you’re going to be in or around the Circuit of the Americas this weekend for the grand prix, be sure to check out the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show. It’s free, and open to anyone with a love of motorcycles.
