Hit Girl Edition Ducati 1199 Panigale Giveaway in Japan
Ducati Japan has produced a one-off purple 1199 Panigale to promote the movie “Kick Ass 2”. The sequel to the 2010’s “Kick Ass” opened in North America last August, but in Japan it opens Feb. 22. The Panigale will be given away in a promotion that ends on March 14; unfortunately, the contest is only available in Japan.
The one-off Panigale is painted in purple, the signature color of the character Hit-Girl, played in the films by Chloë Grace Moretz, and features “HG” badges on the fairing. Unfortunately, because it was produced for Japan, the 1199 is equipped with a rather unsightly exhaust to pass the country’s stringent noise restrictions.
Ignoring that carbon-fiber snorkel, the Panigale looks pretty good in purple, don’t you think?
