The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM)updated the schedule for the 2014 MotoGP Championship. The updated calendar has just a few changes from the previous provisional calendar released in October.

The May 4 Spanish Grand Prix is now confirmed, with a new contract ratified with the Jerez circuit. The FIM also shuffled the three late-season Pacific Ocean rounds. The Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang, previously 16th on the schedule on Oct. 12, has been pushed back a couple of weeks to Oct. 26 and will now be 18th on the calendar. The Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi (now Oct. 12) and Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island (moved to Oct. 19) were both moved ahead by a week.

The only question mark remaining is the Sept. 28 Brazilian Grand Prix. The Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet in Brasilia, Brazil, still needs to get homologation approval for motorcycle racing.
