November retail sales growth figures for KTM North America, Inc. have put the motorcycle company out front as the fastest growing motorcycle company in the US for 2013.

KTM’s November unit sales rose 49% compared to the same month in 2012 and year-to-date numbers at the end of November showed KTM leading growth with a 28.8% increase. This sales growth makes KTM the fastest growing motorcycle company in the US for 2013.

According to Brad Hagi, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for KTM North America, credit for this performance is due in part to dealers being able to put models like the SXS Mini’s, SX Factory Editions, ISDE bikes, 990 Adventure Baja Editions, and 690 Dukes into the hands of consumers. With the release of the 1190 Adventure models and the 1290 Super Duke R, we eagerly await to see if KTM can carry this momentum into 2014, especially considering the $17,000 price tag of the Super Duke R.

What do you think? Is a new KTM destined for your garage in 2014? Tell us why or why not in the comments section below.

Troy's been riding motorcycles and writing about them since 2006, getting his start at Rider Magazine. From there, he moved to Sport Rider Magazine before finally landing at Motorcycle.com in 2011. A lifelong gearhead who didn't fully immerse himself in motorcycles until his teenage years, Troy's interests have always been in technology, performance, and going fast. Naturally, racing was the perfect avenue to combine all three. Troy has been racing nearly as long as he's been riding and has competed at the AMA national level. He's also won multiple club races throughout the country, culminating in a Utah Sport Bike Association championship in 2011. He has been invited as a guest instructor for the Yamaha Champions Riding School, and when he's not out riding, he's either wrenching on bikes or watching MotoGP.
