Jesse James of West Coast Choppers fame is starting up a new business, this time in the firearms industry. The custom motorcycle maker and star of television programs such as “Monster Garage” and “Jesse James is a Dead Man” is entering the gun business with his new company, Jesse James Firearms Unlimited (JJFU)

Instead of customizing motorcycles, James will be producing firearms for military and police use as well as for gun enthusiasts.

“It’s taking the same theory behind my world-famous bikes and applying it to another passion of mine, which is guns,” says James.

JJFU will hold its official launch party Nov. 16 at the Rattle Inn in Austin, Texas, with sales expected to begin in January. The initial product line which includes a 1911 pistol and AR-15 rifle will be presented at the launch party.
