MV Agusta has revealed a new one-off special edition model by Italian architect and designer Simone D’Auria called the Brutale California. Based on a 2012 MV Agusta Brutale 1090 R, the California model is clad in carbon fiber with D’Auria’s signature timber-inspired wood pattern, a style he calls “Wood Vibrations“.

This isn’t the first time D’Auria has designed a wood-inspired carbon-fiber Brutale California for MV Agusta. Last year, the designer created another version with a red walnut finish. This year’s version is a darker walnut finish with detailing in the MV Agusta’s blue and gold colors. The special edition MV Agusta Brutale California will be displayed at various museums and galleries.
