The Suzuki GSX-R1000 is the flag-ship sportbike for Suzuki, this video shows how its all put together in Japan. The 2009 Gixxer liter machine underwent such comprehensive redesign (though it looks remarkably similar to ‘08) that Suzuki refers to the update as “a full model change” which was introduced to us about one-year ago.
Suzuki Introduces Extremely Rare 2014 GSX-R1000 SE Limited Production
In honor of Suzuki’s 50th Anniversary in America, the company has introduced the exclusive, limited-production Suzuki GSX-R1000 SE – with a total of just 50 numbered motorcycles to be sold through Suzuki dealers in America, and only 100 produced worldwide.
No internal modifications have been made to the GSX-R1000, but the visual changes are quite obvious. Bling is the name of the game, and this SE model adds singular style that is most evident in the polished and chrome-plated frame, plus the machined and polished chrome rims with clear-coated blue spokes.
Matching the blue wheel spokes and ram-air intake ports, the SE’s fork tubes, fork adjusters, steering stem nut, and the ring surrounding the tachometer are also anodized blue. Out back, Suzuki added a polished exhaust and muffler combination that’s finished with a black anodized endcap. Helping drive this motorcycle’s power is a blue-colored chain. And in between, the clutch cover, generator cover, and rear shock spring are given a blue finish.
Each GSX-R1000 SE will include an individually numbered serial plate secured to the bike’s triple clamp, denoting each as one of only 100 built in the world.
Pricing and availability will be announced soon. For more information visit www.suzukicycles.com.
