2013 Honda CBR250R Gets Repsol Edition

American Honda announced a number of returning 2013 models with new color options but the most eye-catching of the new paint jobs is the Repsol-edition CBR250R.

Dressed to resemble Casey Stoner‘s and Dani Pedrosa‘s Honda RC213V MotoGP race bikes, the 2013 Repsol edition Honda CBR250R sports the Spanish petroleum company’s orange with red and white colors, the Honda Racing Corporation logo and the “One Heart” motto of Honda’s Indonesian joint venture which also sponsors the MotoGP team. Completing the look are the Repsol-orange wheels.

In addition to the Repsol edition, the 2013 CBR250R will also be available in either a Pearl White, Blue and Red version or  Black or Red. All versions except the Repsol version will be available with ABS.

All models receive a new black exhaust cover while the non-Repsol versions also get black wheels.

The 2013 model is otherwise unchanged from last year. It is still powered by the fuel-injected 249cc DOHC single-cylinder engine that will also be powering the all-new 2013 Honda CRF250L. Pricing and availability have yet to be announced.

Painted black wheels look cheap and Kawasaki-ish.
Silver circles on the rims near the tire would make a big difference, as in Yamaha-like and cool.
    I’m sooooo glad I bought a 2012 CBR250R with silver wheels.

Black wheels are much easier to take care of. Chrome is labor intensive and once chrome is corroded, you are out of luck.

The wheels on the cbr250 aren’t chrome.

They’re just painted silver. They don’t take any work to maintain. Better than Kawi black wheels though. What’s the point in copying it?

Yes, I know the wheels are painted silver. Silver or black paint make more sense than chrome on cycle wheels. Too much work to keep chrome from pitting.Would you rather clean and polish or ride?

“would you rather clean and polish or ride?”

Is this a quiz? I choose RIDE!

    Did I get it right?
