Öhlins Racing has launched a new online publication showcasing stories about its suspension technologies and their racing applications.

The inaugural Summer 2012 issue of “Performance” went online today at OhlinsNews.com, showing Öhlins isn’t afraid of any Friday the 13th superstitions. The first issue profiles 63-year-old Thorlief Hansen, a six-time Swedish MX Champion and Öhlins test rider, examines Öhlins’ Selective Steering Stabilizer technology, explores the company’s history in British Superbike racing, and takes a look at Alaska’s Iron Dog endurance snowmobile race.

“We’re really excited to be launching Performance, everyone thinks of our racing success but there is so much more to explain about the Öhlins ‘story’,” says Ola Lennström, marketing communication manager for Öhlins. “We have very high-end technical products but the interesting part is their inspiration, the guys that built them and crucially; what they get used for; on circuit, road, dirt and snow.”

Öhlins is also holding a draw offering tickets for two to a MotoGP round for 2012 or 2013 at the company’s VIP hospitality area. To enter, visit http://www.ohlinsnews.com/index.php/current-issue/competition and subscribe to Öhlins newsletter.
