In related news, the FIM has created The Commission for Women in Motorcycling (CFM). Its mission is to create egalitarian opportunities and to promote equal treatment for women involved in activities related to motorcycling. It shall establish close cooperation with all sporting, extra-sporting Commissions, Panels and possible external partners, who are experts in the world of motorcycling. It shall advise the CdD on all steps which it feels ought to be taken in this area in order to reach the objectives it has set.
Tomorrow the FIM will launch the first edition of the CFM Newsletter.
A former Motorcycle.com staffer who has gone on to greener pastures, Tom Roderick still can't get the motorcycle bug out of his system. And honestly, we still miss having him around.
