It always feels good to lend somebody a helping hand, but it feels even better when somebody hands you the keys to a couple of new motorcycles for your effort.

Healing Heroes Network has developed a campaign to add a little more excitement to donating to charities, with its Harleys for Heroes sweepstakes.

Healing Heroes Network is a 501(c)3 charity organization based out of Palm Harbor, Fla. HHN provides financial assistance for medical treatments to the men and women in our armed forces injured in Iraq or Afghanistan on or after September 11, 2001. When donating to the Harleys for Heroes sweepstakes, participants receive chances to win two Harley-Davidson motorcycles, a 2011 Street Glide and a 2011 Fat Boy Lo, as well as a year’s worth of gas.

“Many of us don’t always realize how a little ‘thank you’ can mean so much to our soldiers,” says Stacey Spiegel, executive director of Healing Heroes Network. “This campaign allows supporters to not only have a chance to win two new motorcycles and a year of gas, but it gives them a chance to show they honor our troops and appreciate their sacrifices.”

To enter the Harleys for Heroes sweepstakes, visit www.harleysforheroes.com and buy some tickets before Dec. 1, 2011. The drawing will be held Dec. 8, 2011, and the winner will be announced on Dec. 11, 2011. For more information on the Healing Heroes Network, visit www.healingheroes.org.
