TT3D: The Isle Of Man Like You've Never Seen Before [video]
I don’t know about you, but whenever I get word of a motorcycle movie coming out, I roll my eyes. I can’t help but laugh at what will probably be a terrible flick with naked girls, over-the-top chase scenes (usually where the motorcyclist is the bad guy), and gratuitous wheelies, burnouts, endos and other maneuvers that the general public often associate with “bikers.” That’s not always the case though, and once in a while a movie slips through the cracks that gets me genuinely excited. TT3D is one of them. Check out the trailer after the jump.
I’ll admit, the last motorcycle racing movie that really got my juices flowing was Faster. It’s hard to believe, but that came out almost a decade ago. With TT3D, never has a movie gotten so close to the action of the Isle of Man TT. The movie goes beyond the racing (which in itself is spectacular), but also follows the lives of a few select racers (Guy Martin being one) on the track and off. Shot in 3D and narrated by Jared Leto, TT3D appears to be an exciting film that I think will capture the passion and dedication racers have for the sport. And that’s just based on the trailer below!
