Right angle turns are still dangerous

Tron, not my favorite movie of all time … but it did have those light cycles and deadly Frisbees.

26 years later these things have been deemed cool again and there’s enough nostalgia out there to warrant a sequel: Tr2n (or Tron 2.0).

Jeff Bridges, star of the original Tron in 1982, is set to play “Kevin Flynn” again in this sequel alongside Eomer, son of Eomund.

The script has gone through a few re-writes in order to appease the Gods at Disney, but judging from the 3 minute teaser trailer below, it looks like it’ll have some nice updated eye-candy.

(Warning: This trailer was previewed at the 2008 Comic Con and was only capture on a dinky digital camera. Also be warned that this trailer has been pulled from YouTube before and this one might not stay up for long)

BONUS!

If the Tron 2.0 trailer has been taken down (again), please at least enjoy the light cycle battle from the original 1982 Tron. Enjoy!
